HUZZAH!

I get to go see my baby 1 week sooner than expected! Thank you to the friends who are making it happen.

FREEDOM

Well, for one of the few times in human history a group of people that have lost a freedom have regained it peacefully. The Supreme Court not only struck down the District of Columbia's handgun ban but, more importantly, finally made a clear statement that the Second Amendment does indeed guarantee an INDIVIDUAL right to keep and bear arms. It is good to know that the Court has finally recognized what the Constitution has been clear about from the beginning. Hopefully this is a start to an even freer America in the future.

Here's a blog for Blue. I am missing her madly, so I'll do this. I hope in all the craziness that our life journey has gotten into this last year that I will learn what God wants me to learn and do what He wants me to do.

I can't wait for the 4th of July weekend. Need to get back to my girls.

In other new..Rays win again!! 5-4 over the Cubs, 2nd in a row, clinching the series and going for the sweep tomorrow. Good movie tonight, "The Usual Suspects". Good soup for supper.

Good night.

Another year, and the tomb is STILL empty. Thank you Jesus.

I'm sure that anyone who reads this has probably seen this comment at Ladyblue's site already. In case you haven't, it's my open letter to those who have branded her "unstable". Good company, maybe? Go ahead and count me in too, please.

Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind." (Mark 3:20-21)

 "To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other:
   " 'We played the flute for you,
      and you did not dance;
   we sang a dirge,
      and you did not cry.' For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' But wisdom is proved right by all her children." (Luke 7:31-35)

If you are wondering if I'm talking to you...

"He who has ears, let him hear." - Jesus (frequently)
